Qualified in Medicine in Athens, Greece and trained in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in Philadelphia and Chicago, USA. Completed Master’s in Public Health in UIC in Chicago, USA. ABIM certified in Infectious Diseases (2004-14) and Internal Medicine (2002-2012 and 2012-2022). Appointed Consultant in Infectious Diseases in September 2005 at Addenbrooke’s NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge, UK. Appointed Clinical Director in Infectious Diseases in October 2008. Completed PhD in Epidemiology in the Medical Research Council Epidemiology Unit in the University of Cambridge in October 2012. ABIM certified in infectious diseases 2004-24.
As an Infectious Diseases consultant she has specific expertise in treating patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, recurrent infections as well as travel related illness and complex HIV.
