The Tutorial Office & General Assistance
The Tutorial Offices are located in the buildings, known as the Maisonettes, opposite the Richard Laws Building. The Head of Tutorial and the Education Service Administrators are responsible to the Senior Tutor for all administrative work concerning matriculation, graduation congregations, examination entries and results, tutorial awards and supervision reports. Should you experience any problems, your first point of contact should be your College Tutor, however, to contact the Senior Tutor or for general enquiries, the Tutorial Office can be contacted via email.
The normal opening hours for the Tutorial Office are Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 12:30pm and Friday 9:00am – 4:30pm. The Office is closed for lunch each day from 12:30-1:oopm.
The Tutorial Office can be contacted by email at tutorial@st-edmunds.cam.ac.uk.
The Admissions Office is located in the Red Door Maisonette and the Wellbeing Team is located in the end Maisonette closest to the driveway.
The College Nurse’s details can be found here
Advice for Students
You can always contact the Tutorial Office as well as your Tutor (if you are not sure who this is, please do get in touch with the Tutorial Office or check your CamSiS self service page) about a range of issues such as academic and pastoral welfare, exams and anything else where you may not be sure whom to approach, we will do our best to direct your query or answer it if we can.
You may also like to look at the Students’ Unions’ Advice Service at the University of Cambridge webpages as they can offer advice and help on a range of issues, as well as the University webpages, including these that provide information about paid work whilst you study, intermission and other changes that may need to be made to your student status.
Changing Tripos
This is never a decision that should be taken lightly, but very occasionally, students already in Cambridge on a course of study find that their original interests have shifted and they may feel that another Tripos is a better fit for them.
